Quail hunting demands a special kind of methodical, close working, superb nose dog.The use in pheasants,grouse, woodcock, partidge in open land , demands other qualities best found in english breeds or more developed continentals.Personaly i am jealus only of braque Overne, which i consider a superb hard working amimal, that has a lot of quaities.
